Report on PSC AGM

The AGM took place on 21 January. It was one of the best attended AGM’s with over 300 delegates present. Omar Barghouti gave an inspiring key note speech emphasising growing international and mainstream support for the BDS movement. The executive committee’s Annual Plan of Action for 2012 was endorsed covering three areas – Gaza, BDS and saving Jerusalem. Teddies to Gaza

LWPSC activist Veronica has been spearheading the Teddies to Gaza campaign, which is aimed at sending trauma teddies to NGOs working in Gaza. We have been given 1,000 knitted teddies by Teddies for Tragedies. The teddies are knitted by volunteers – there are 1,500 all over the country – who pay for the materials themselves.
